Estimation of amounts of grass pollen to be expected is based on more than 30 years’experience and of the RMI weather forecasts. These estimations are published from May 15 to July 15 on the following website www.meteo.be

Depending on the outlook for the upcoming pollen counts, the following terms are used:

High (more than 30 pollen grains/m³)

Moderate (6 to 30 pollen grains/m³)

Low (1 to 5 pollen grains/m³)

No activity (no pollen in the air)
